The BD Tuohy Weiss™ Epidural Needle is designed for epidural and combination anesthesia procedures, offering precision and safety. Manufactured from medical grade stainless steel, it features a modified Tuohy tip that provides improved tactile feel and a short tip length to minimize accidental dural puncture. The needle heel is specially designed to minimize catheter shear, while the one-piece plastic stylet is contoured to prevent tissue stripping and is lighter in weight, improving tactile sensitivity during insertion. The clear pavilion allows for clear visualization and is color-coded by gauge for quick identification.
